Local power flushing services
Power Flushing Farnborough
Over time, central heating water accumulates harmful dirt and debris. The combination of water and oxygen leads to the formation of metallic sludge. Without proper care, this sludge can cause damage to your boiler, pipework, and radiators. Contaminated water results in reduced radiator heat, increased system noise, poor circulation, and a higher risk of system failures. These issues contribute to higher gas bills and an increased likelihood of a boiler breakdown.
In such cases, power flushing or power cleansing is the most effective method for cleaning a dirty system, restoring it to optimal operation and reducing heating bills. Our highly trained heating engineers specialise in power flushing your central heating system to enhance efficiency and save you money. After restoring your system to prime efficiency, maintain its performance by installing a magnetic system filter. Please note that power flushing does not remove existing blockages, as these require manual removal.

What Is Power Flushing?
A Power Flush is a process that cleans out a central heating system by circulating high volumes of water and cleaning agents throughout the system, forcing and loosening the build-up of debris and rust. Machines equipped with magnets are used to draw the rust and debris from the system. After a complete power flush, an inhibitor is added to protect against further lime scale and corrosion, helping to maintain optimum system efficiency.
The effectiveness of a power flush depends on the severity of the blockages, and it may not always be the solution. Our engineers in Farnborough can assess the situation and provide advice on the best course of action.
